Tia Pleiman is an Artist and International Art Therapist living in the International Township of Auroville, South India. Her Art Therapy is cross cultural, focusing on self expression, reflection and creative exploration, interpersonal communication, building community, human unity, individual and group empowerment. Art Therapy is utilized with both individuals and groups in community and educational settings to acquire new skills, to supplement the learning process and to provide a voice where one may or may not exist. The applications and adaptations of Art Therapy are infinite....beneficial for any population, culture, age or ability level. I call my programs CREATE AND TRANSFORM because I truly believe that making art and participating in the creative process brings about personal and interpersonal transformation in addition to creating Peace, both internally and externally.
